1.      Mumbles is a victorian seaside resort, it lies at the western end of the 5 mile sweep of  Swansea bay. This viewpoint is from west Cross. This bench is where I have sat and painted many times. The path is 5 miles long from Swansea to Mumbles. The Mumbles Train used to use this route, before it was taken into retirement many years ago.It was the first passenger tram line service in the world. It is now in the museum.

3.    Village Lane is a quaint little street just off the main road

6.       Dickslade  is just off the main road in Mumbles, there are steep steps going up to these pretty little cottages.

beauty.

11.      The Old Rectory, Rhosilli Gower. You can see worms head in the distance.At the far end of the worm,facing the sea, is a cave which at one time used as a home by a poet, he furnished  the cave with a table and chair,spending his time writing poetry. His behaviour became very strange ,he used to go into the village day or night and shoot off his revolver, the villagers saw to it he left the area.This is an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Old Rectory is said to be haunted.

12.       Penclawdd is on the North side of gower, this channel of water opens out into the Llwchwr estuary.This little village follows the North Gower coastline.

 13.          Three Cliffs  is a stunning  place,
this is a spot I love to sit and gaze at
the view. This is an area of outstanding
natural beauty. This is an impressionist 
style.

 14   You can see The Brecon Beacons in the
distance.Pen y fan is the highest peak in
South Wales.The patchwork fields are
beautiful, this area has stunning scenery
waiting to be painted. I have painted many times in this area.
